I began to think to myself,while staring at a bag of Craisins in my refrigerator 'where do craisins come from...?This is what I thought up...
Well a craisin is the product of a cranberry and a raisin.Now most people think the cranberry is a good fruit,but don't be fooled.It has a dark side just like any other fruit.
The cranberry and raisin met online and spoke for a few weeks before deciding to meet up,but on the date they were supposed to meet up when poor little raisin got to their meeting place,she didn't see cranberry.She waited and waited for hours.Finally when she went to leave,she was at her car when cranberry leaped out of a white cable company van and pressed a cloth against her 'face' before tossing her in the truck. Cranberry raped rasin repeatedly then threw her out into the street and drove away.
Months later raisin turned up pregnant.Being totally against abortion she had the baby.This baby,is the craisin.
Gren was once a young boy.He wasn't anything special.He was neither faster,smarter,nor stronger than any of the other boys.But one day traveling came to his small town of Farun.Being a very crious child he went to to look around the big forest of tents and people.He trotted through the crowd until he came to a jet black tent with silver trims.So of course he went inside.Then he saw a young man in the same type of robes,jet black with silver trim.The man smiled through his beard"Hello young lad what can old Fihard get for you?"he asked through a broad smile.Gren looked around"What do you sell?"he asked quietly in a shy tone.The man waved him over to the counter"I sell small trinkets like this"he said holding up a hairpin with a 'ruby' butterfly on it.Grne gazed at it with amazement"Wow Mr. Fihard that`s pretty"he said reaching out to touch it.Just as he was about to touch it Fihard grabbed him and threw him in a barrel"Stupid children.Well this one will suffice for our dinner after the show"he rolled the barrel into the back store room and closed the flap"Don`t go anywhere"he said in a singsong tone as he danced away."Help!"Gren wailed in his barrel for what seemed like hours before his voice gave up on him.He sighed and slumped down and waited to be devoured.A few hours later he fell asleep.
Later Gren was awakened by a quick upward motion.He looked around and saw a ugly ogre holding him by his shirt.It roared with laughter as it walked"You won`t get away with this!"Gren yelled kicking at it with futile efforts.It only laughed harder and kept walking.As the ogre walked into a bigger tent it was filled with greedy looking pig creatures"Let`s skip the cooking and get straight to the eating"one hissed poking Gren's belly.The ogre yanked him away and walked to a big stick that was being used as a spit.They tied him to it and started to put him over the fire.'Is this as far as I get to go?"he asked himself 'Will my life end here and they`ll never find my body?'He closed his eyes 'Move Gren!Move!'he shouted in his mind.Then he blacked out.When he finally woke up there was blood all over and the town was aflame.He ran out of the tent as fast as he could'What happened?'he thought as he ran.He must have run for hours without stopping because he soon ran into a man walking through the woods.He looked at Gren with cold eyes"What are you doing in my woods?!"he asked drawing a sword"Are you from that town?"he asked in an icy tone.When Gren didn't answer he narrowed his eyes"I see so you ran like a little coward"he said and pushed past Gren"senseless kid"he muttered"I didn't runaway!"Gren yelled"And I am no coward!My mother and father were in that town.You wouldn't know what it`s like to loose your entire family in one night would you?!"he yelled tears running down his face.The man turned back and punched the kid in the face"You don`t speak to you're elders like that"he said"I know more about death than you`ll ever know."he glared at the kid who glared right back.The boy got up and turned his back to the man and ran into the woods once more"Stupid useless adult"he said as he ran as fast as he could,tears flooding down his face"I`ll never trust anyone ever again or let anyone touch me!"he vowed as he ran.He soon came to a large city with people and merchants.He walked into the streets and started yelling for help.Everyone looked at him,though no one stepped up to ask him what was the matter.He kept on running.A guy put his hand on the kids shoulder to stop him what was the matter but he immediately screamed and removed his hand.Gren looked at him and saw a dozen small needle like spikes in his hand.Gren stepped forward to take them from him but he no more than touched him and almost a dozen more sprang out of his hand and stabbed the man again.Everyone started backing away"What the hell?!" "What a freak" were a few remarks that could be heard from around the crowd.
Gren dashed up the street having no idea what was happening to him.He looked arund ut everyone just stepped away from him"Can someone help me?!"he yelled but everyone just moved away from him.He ran around a corner and ran into guy who screamed in pain before falling over quickly with a dozen spikes in the groin 'What's happening to me?!'he thought as he was hit in the head with a rock"What the-"Gren murmured as about twenty more came incoming"AAAAH!!!!"he screamed and ran again as he saw a large group of kids throwing rocks at him yelling"Get out of our city FREAK!!"
Three years later a young traveler found a young boy in the woods rocking back and fourth on his haunches"Um,kid are you alright?"he asked reaching down to touch him"Don`t touch me!!"the kids screeched and dashed away"What the-"the man said and dashed after the kid.Suddenly he heard a loud screech and he fell to the ground"Augh!"He covered his ears as the screaming continued and found his ears were bleeding"What was that sound and who was that kid?"he asked himself"Could they some how be connected?"He sighed and headed to the city.He found that it had a new fortress wall around it.A crossbow bolt hit just in front of his foot"Halt!Who goes there?!"came a booming loud voice"Uh...Asano...sir..."he said innocently holding his hands up in surrender"Please don't shoot I'm just a weary traveler looking for shelter and supplies"he looked around as he heard rustling in the bushes"Wha-"The gate rose"Hurry get in before that crazy kid comes back!"the voice called.Asano ran inside"What's been going on here and why are you more of a fortress out of this city than an actual city?!"he asked the captain of the guard who met him at the gate"Well three years ago a young boy ran into our city begging for help.After killing two men a group of kids chased him out into the woods and did unimaginably horrible things to him.A few nearby druids heard him screaming for help as the boys beat him and they chased the kids away and healed him.Now he has a grudge against this whole city until he kills those fourteen kids who nearly killed him.
"Then why don`t youjust give him th kids?"Asano asked curiously.This seemed like a fairly stupid situation they were in."We tried but their mothers and fathers protected each and every one of them.Now their in the inn threatening to kill anyone who enters."Asano sighed"Why didn't you just throw them outside with their stupid kids?!"he asked."Well we tried but the whole town started saying it was inhumane to throw them out even though their endangering the whole town....."Asano shook his head"I want somewhere to sleep for the night.Then I'll help you in the morning"
The next day Asano went outside and looked around.He heard a rustling in the bushes and then suddenly a small boy was rushing at him with a spike coming from each of his fingertips"Die!"he screamed.Asano calmly side stepped the kid'He seems more scared then angry'he thought.The kid whirled around and shot the spike at him and leaped at him.As Asano was hit with three spikes he thought'I stand corrected'the kid started choking him and then ran away as suddenly as he had appeared.He looked up and saw a troop of guards"You shouldn`t be out here alone"they said.Asano stood up and brushed himself off"We have to be able to calm that kid down somehow"he murmered"Wait!You said that some druids helped him right?"he asked the guards,they nodded"Then I'll bet he's been living near where they are"he said and tore off in the direction the kid had gone."Should we follow him captain?"one guard asked."No let him get himself killed.We all have families to take care of"the captain said and walked back inside the walls.But as the gates were closing no one noticed a small,nearly starved boy slip inside.
Asano saw some smoke in the distance.The direction he had just come from"What the?"he asked himself and dashed in that direction.He returned to the city and found the gate was bashed outward"Oh no"he said and ran inside.As soon as he entered he saw dead bodies everywhere"What happened?"he asked looking around.Then he saw it,some movement in an alley"There"he said and ran into the alley and found the boy on the ground,covered in blood.He reached down to touch the kid but as soon as his hand came within an inch of him the kid's eyes snapped open and he threw a spike at Asano."Augh!"he cried out as the spike drove right into his stomach.He knew he was done for"Kid...why did you do this again?"he asked falling to his knees"I investigated something like this about a month ago a town to the west of here called Farun"The kid gasped"You know what happened there?"he asked backing away"Yes I know everyone was killed in the same manner that the peoople here were killed.Only one boy escaped...."he fell to his knees"It was horrible wasn't it...Gren"he wheezed.
The kid gasped"How do you know my name?"he asked in an angry tone"Because I was there,remember?"Asano fell backwards.A rain drop fell down from the sky and landed on his hand.Then another until it was raining.Gren stood up and stood over this strange man"Who are you?!"he asked noting that this man wasn`t bleeding anymore.Asano sat up"You killed the entire town single handed.I know you tried to start with me"he said with a grin"Does the name Fihard mean anything to you?"he asked with a wicked tone in his voice.Gren backed away"No,no I could've sworn I killed you!I saw you on the ground bleeding like a dead cow!"he backed into the fence in the back of the alley"Poor stupid little boy.I am not Fihard,he is recovering still from the wounds you inflicted on him.My species can regenerate quickly,but the wounds you inflicted on him seem to be taking some time."he pulled the spike out and threw it to the ground and it disolved"I also see you've mastered a defense system with those things.Unfortunately though it uses your blood to make them then they harden and become harder than magical steel."Gren gasped"How do you know so much about me?"he asked.Asano grinned"Because I was their when Ikitsu made you from magic....experiment number 937.That`s right,that's how you were brought into this world.Then Ikitsu thought you were a failure so he had Fihard dispose of you.Unfortunatly Fihard didn't have the heart back then to kill you.So he gave you to a family who had just suffered a loss of a baby boy.You,number 937 assumed his identity and his life.Your name isn`t really Gren!You don't even have a name!"he taunted.Gren shook"It....cant be.....it just....can`t....be..."he fell to his knees"I won`t believe it!It just can`t be true.Your lying!!"he shot three spikes at Asano then ran around him and out of the alley.
Asano shook his head"They always want to do things the hard way.Well I guess I`ll do what Fihard couldn`t do!"he ran after Gren as he drew his sword"Come on kid time to do this quick and painfully!"As he left the alley the ground under his feet was being pelted with spikes"You have no accuracy kid"he flipped over the spikes and ran at him.Spikes grew over Gren`s fingers as he ran at Asano.Gren threw a scratch at Asano.Parrying the kid`s blow he kicked Gren in the gut and threw him into a fruit cart breaking it."Face it kid your nothing"Asano said as he walked over and rteached down to pick him up."Wrong!"Gren yelled and kicked him in the knee and rolled back- ward and slashed him across the face then stabbed him in the back and took off running again"Foolish little runt!You forget my species regerates?!"he yelled as the cuts healed as he turned around and dashed after him"This is starting to annoy me,little one.Just come quietly and I promise to kill you quickly."he called up to the kid who disappeared around the corner."Would you like to know what your true name is number 937?"he asked"Would you like to know before I gut you like the spineless worm you are?"he looked around but couldn`t find any sign of the runt."Your true name,runt,is-"he stopped for a moment to survey his surroundings"937"He heard a small gasp then the pitter-patter of footsteps as they ran around him in the back streets.
Suddenly without sound or warning Gren stepped out into the street"Your wrong.My name is Gren and it always will be"he charged the man.Asano side stepped the kid and kicked him in the back,ssending him toppling into a nearby building and through the wall"Face it 937 your just a sick joke to society so give up the tough act and just die"he said stepping on him so he couldn`t worm his way out of the inevitable"This is the end!"he said raising his sword above his head.That was the last thing Gren saw.
